God, I'm so exhausted.
My heart begs to leave my chest,
my body is shattered,
my lungs fail me,
I've ran long enough.
Too long has my soul suffered,
too many times has my heart been broken,
too long has my mind been tormented.
My only companion is loneliness.
In darkness I dwell
I kneel in a pool of tears,
broken and despondent.
Life is deserting me.
Lord, I know I don't deserve it,
but If you could spare some mercy
I'll surrender my life to you.
And then through all my circumstances a still small voice,
"I'm here, and I'll never leave you."
Out of the darkness light shown down;
where death once was life does much more abound.
My heart is mended,
my soul is at rest,
and my mind has peace.
God, your love is extravagant.
Your mercy is beyond comprehension.
Your grace exceeds all limitation.
I pray you keep me in your loving arms, oh God
so that I'll never fall away again.

When Doves Cry
I've believed deception.
I've chosen to walk away.
I have fallen,
but God has not forsaken me.
I hide in darkness,
yet he shows me the light.
I run without caution.
Denying the truth.
Now the tires are screeching.
The glass is breaking,
My world is collapsing,
and I'm seconds away from death.
When bad things happen to good people.
Thats when doves cry.
We'll face hard times,
but don't worry God will be glorified.
As I lay in a bed without hope
Lost in sin.
I see Jesus stretching out his merciful hand.
God, I've made mistakes,
and I've felt remorse.
I've believed lies,
but I'm ready for truth.
I give you all of me.
Take me as I am,
and cleanse me with your blood.
I thank you for your boundless mercy,
and your endless love.
My life is yours, use me.
When bad things happen to good people.
Thats when doves cry.
We'll face hard times,
but don't worry God will be glorified.

Heaven
Where streets are made of purest gold A river flows by a tree of life, And there we'll have no trouble and strife A mansion awaits me over there, Forever I'll live, no burdens I'll bear Never a problem, never a care Just endless joy and beauty so rare This heavenly place, this city of light A land where never comes a night One day I'll enter just to see The face of him who died for me. I'll search the banks on the beautiful shore, to find my loved ones who went on before I'll see you there if we ne'er again meet, You can find me at my dear Saviour's feet.
